Chef Love is quite active in the spread of food and nutritional education to children across America. Starting a partnership with Spoons Across America in 2004, Chef Love has spent countless hours in classrooms across the country helping children learn healthy food & snack choices & fun guidelines to remember for a healthy future.

In 2008, Chef Love helped create a new menu at All Saints' Episcopal School in Fort Worth.  This daily nutritional program, a huge hit with the kids & their parents, has spurred interest across the nation and is helping further spread the mission of Spoons Across America.

In 2010, Chef Love will be hosting his First Annual Burgers for Babies at the Love Shack So7 in Fort Worth. Love’s twin daughters were born nearly two months premature, and raising money for research and care for infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) has become a passion project for Love and his family. With Burgers for Babies, Love hopes to raise money specifically to help support the NICU at Cook Children’s Medical Center, while having a good time with one last summertime cookout/blowout!
